Steam Bond is easy introduced through the system using metering equipment. Typical mixture is around 1oz - 4oz of Steam Bond per 1 gallon of water. Determine what is the best mixture for your application. Typically Steam Bond is applied with the use of a steam phosphatizing unit. The steam solution is applied from bottom to top overlapping edges when cleaning and phosphatizing metal. Clean metal with Steam Bond for about 30 - 45 seconds per 10 square feet. Rinse metal with water for about 20 - 30 seconds per 10 square feet. The metal should now have a slight blue tint to it. The metal is now prepared for subsequent painting and/or powder coating.
